About me
My name is PIXIE.
I've been an ARTIST my entire life. I was particularly drawn to animation after enjoying the craft in many movies growing up. Most notably, the early Disney Animated films, Tom and Jerry, Tim Burton's animated work/style, and Looney Tunes. In High School I took all the Art classes available at the time and in Senior year, repeated beginning Art just to have an Art class on my schedule. After graduation, I briefly attended college while working full-time at a call center. I became disenchanted as my heart was set on learning animation and I was too young to realize the benefits of finishing College. The internet wasn't what it is now. I met my first husband around that time and we started a family (WAY too young). It was very stressful those first years. I continued doing Art during that time, selling the odd painting on eBay and random commissions I was lucky enough to get requested. Our marriage didn't last, for many reasons, and we got divorced. Single parenting was difficult, but a blessing. I met my current husband in 2012 and that slowly progressed until we got married in 2018. He helped me raise my kids, along with his 3, and has been an absolute godsend. Him and his family!
The kids are raised and starting their own lives. I'm lucky enough to be able to do Art and be a student full-time do to the unwavering support of my husband. I am hoping to help people bring their projects to life, or at the very least, share the joy for Art I have. I have done tattoo designs, book covers, holiday animation, portraits, book illustrations, and mobile game graphics! I'm working on more skills every day so I can do my best to satisfy challenges that come my way.
